Hi Anil and all the team at Indovision Tours,
We have returned safe and sound from our holiday to India and on behalf of myself and my partner, Andy, we would both like to say a huge thank you for your services. We had a fantastic holiday of a lifetime! and we couldn't have done it without you. I have captured a summary of our trip in the following email, please feel free to use this as a client testimonial on your website if you wish.
Summary***Excellent Holiday!***
From the very start of planning our tour, having searched the Internet, we found Indovision were recommended on several Indian tourist websites. Also, they are recognised by the ministry of tourism, government of India. We had very specific requirements about what we wanted to do during our 2 week stay so we sent our details and vague requirements via email and got a swift response including a detailed itinerary, competitive quote pr person, suggested hotels etc all within 48hrs. Having compared with other tour agents, we decided to proceed with Indovision because they best matched our brief of what we wanted to see in India (and more), gave realistic expectations and timings of travelling to include in our stay and they did have a competitive quote.
Once off the aeroplane, we met with our driver via a clear sign with our names on at the airport arrivals and taken to the comfort of the car.We were given our unique professional travel pack, which reminded us of our detailed itinerary by day and also had important receipts for hotels, guides etc.
Whilst in India, we were treated like royalty. Every meet and greet was on time, no delays. Everything was explained to us about what time we needed to meet in reception for example to go onto the next stage of our tour so there was no misunderstandings or confusion. The transport which we travelled was mostly via a relatively new car, much needed air conditioning, with clean and comfortable interiors and plenty of leg room.
Our driver for the majority of the trip was Sushil whom was very polite, friendly, professional and although he would be the first to admit his English is not 100%, he still managed to offer great tips, advice, knowledge of the local areas, answered any questions we had and most of all, his driving was excellent. We felt safe and secure with him as Indian roads are so chaotic! We enjoyed his company.
We particularly enjoyed our tour guides in Delhi (Mr Veneet) and Japiur (Mr Vijay Singh) as they were most adaptable and accommodating to our needs, showing us the unique parts of the cities that tourists don't usually get to see. For example the spice market and Lodi gardens in Delhi and in Japiur we went to an authentic Lassi shop and experienced with the locals what a real Lassi tasted like! yum. However, these were just our favourites and all the guides were professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
Our comments on the places and hotels we stayed at:
- Delhi is chaotic, mentally busy city. Love it or hate it, we loved it. Its full of cars, taxis, rickshaws, cows, dogs, people, dust, shops but also has such a contrast of peaceful greenery and gardens, temples, paintings, and colour everywhere. We stayed at Hotel Florence Inn which was in the old Delhi, just round the corner from the markets. Good hotel, had ac in the rooms, equivalent to 3 star in England. However, bring ear plugs as you can't escape the noise of the city even in your hotel room!
- Agra was good, but was all centred around the taj mahal. Beautiful monument, if a little touristy with the touts and sellers bombarding the area. The hotel Amar was one of the best hotels we had during our stay, 3 or maybe 4 star equivalent in England. Good ac in the rooms, with comfortable sofas as well, it had a pool and was central location.
- Ranthambore is a peaceful and tranquil location, a contrast to the city noise and in particular Delhi. It is a national park, renounced for the Tigers. We did 2 safari journeys (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) and were very lucky we saw 3 tigers, it was spectacular and our personal highlight of the holiday. However, it was also in contrast, our worst part of the trip due to a) the accommodation b) we were the only ones at this 'hotel' and c) we both got ill at this point in our trip. We stayed at Jungle Niwas which we knew was tented accommodation, but we did not expect there to be so little home comforts and to be the only ones staying there was not a good sign, partly because it is so isolated and also because lack of demand shows telling signs about the place. There was no ac which is not ideal as at night it was too stuffy and got quite cool, and in the day it was unbearably hot. They did provide a fan in the room/tent but it provided little use considering there was only electricity for a few hours at night! There was also no fridge to keep any drinks cool or even a little paddling pool to cool down would not have gone a miss. Due to the location and type of accommodation it is all full board, you only pay for your drinks separate at the end. The first night was good as there was a lot of freshly cooked dishes to choice from even just for us 2. However, but lunchtime on the 1st full day there, shortly after lunch, we began to feel ill (just thank god it only developed for us after we came back from safari else it would have ruined this experience). It can only be due to the food at Jungle Niwas that caused our illness of severe sickness, diareah, stomach cramps, fever and headaches. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and tried their best to make us comfortable, providing us with blankets at night, extra toilet roll on request, etc. It was bearable for 1 or max 2 night stay but no longer.
- Japiur was a lovely city. The elephant ride at Amber fort was fantastic and memorable and we enjoyed the Jantar Mantar observatory for the architecture. The hotel Bissau Palace was very grand, and pleasant looking and it was nice to have it set back from the hustle and bustle of the streets so it was a little quieter. The location was a little outside of the walls in the 'new' part of japiur as it is referred to but required taxi / rickshaw to go anywhere. It had a nice reception / pool area, but the room, although comfortable and very pleasing to look at with the decor, the only thing that let it down was it did not have ac, only a ceiling fan.
- Goa is exactly what you would expect, western influence and touristy. A place to rest and relax on the beach with all home comforts! We enjoyed this part because it was good to stop and not be guided anywhere, to have a mental rest from taking in so much site seeing but also gave us a much needed physical rest, especially still recovering from illness, this helped a bit of R+R on the beach in hot weather! Hotel Victor Exotica was very good, ac in rooms, pool and all amenities on site as well as an excellent location in the heart of shops / bars / restaurants and the beach front.
Once again, a massive thank you to Indovision tours, especially all the drivers and guides for making our holiday so memorable and wonderful. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and happy to accommodate our needs. We would certainly recommend Indovision to anyone wishing to go to India in the future. It makes it easier, less hassle and takes the stress out of planning so all you have to think about is having a good time whilst your there!
Thank you and best wishes,
Heidi Nall and Andy Kirby

Hola Anil,
in general we have been very pleased with your organisation of our trip. As we might like to travel to the south of India, we will come back asking for your help. Attached you will find a short report of our trip. We enjoyed our train-trip, next time we will include this from the beginning!
For a European traveller it is sometimes quite unpleasant when you are asked to give tips at every moment! Everybody told us "this is the way it goes and you get better used to it", therefore we have been surprised when we have been informed ( Hotel Fateh Garh and The Orchard ) : please do not give tips, if you want to do so you can do it in the moment of checkout! I do not know how others react, but I gave more tip this way than individually I would have given. Hotels should copy this system, at the end its good for both : the tourist and the staff.
All the best and good luck to you and your company!!
Yours
Gerry and Wolf Hanke

Dear Anil,
Our holiday in India has too quickly become a memory, albeit a treasured one.
We should like to thank you for the time and trouble that you and all your staff, colleagues and associates took to make our tour work. It was a great itinerary, and all the arrangements made worked out exactly to plan; the only slight hiccough was on the last leg back in Delhi where all discovered there were at least two Hotels Florence!
We would be very happy to recommend Indovision Tours to anyone wanting to undertake an itinerary as we have done. Key to our enjoyment of our tour was the conduct of our driver, Suchil. He really did look after us, he is a very skilled driver we felt very safe with him, and we enjoyed his company for ten days on the road. We will send you another e-mail with some pictures for him.
The guides arranged at each place were knowledgeable and keen to show us what their respective cities and monuments were all about. They all had their strengths but your representatives in Jaipur, Bikaner and Jodhpur were outstanding.
How you managed to make sure we saw a tiger on our first safari at Rathambore we don't know but we shall give you the credit for it! We really enjoyed our tour and one day we shall come to India again.
Best wishes,
Marilyn and Phil Crawshaw

Somos Rafael Sanchez y Jose Puig.
Atentamente

Dear Sunil
We would like to let you know that we had a wonderful trip!!!
Everything was well organised.
We felt very relaxed with Rajan our driver, he drove very careful, knew his way, was always
in time and in a good mood. Perfect!
The guides spoke very good English, they knew their sites, they kept it short and informative enough to keep us interested all the time which is very unusual with so many guides involved as we speak from experience.
The hotels were very nice and Visalam was unbelievable. At Pondicherry they gave us a very small
room without windows and after I asked for a better one they gave us a nice and big one, why not
immediately!
The hotel Trident was very luxurious, but the location was not so great and the food in the
restaurant was after all the fantastic meals, very disappointing, plus you couldn't open any windows
which made it smell not to fresh!
Only Sangam hotel was bad, sovjet style......
One of the highlights was being on the house boot, absolutely beautiful, comfortable, we felt like
miljonairs :-) pity that the air conditioner broke down during the night, which happens by the way in a
couple of more hotels. So we didn't had many good nights of sleep during this trip.
For Westerners unused to the Indian traffic, it helps to calm the nerves with a functioning seat belt, one of which was broken from the very beginning. Should always be checked before any new Western passenger. The were no head rests for both of the back seats, which is aslo dangerous if somebody hits you from behind. These are typical Western "concerns".
The comments we have given here are to help you to make this trip even better for further costumers and
we will definitely recommend your organisation to our friends.
Best regards,
Eveline and Kari

Dear Anil,
Happy New Year to you!
I just wanted to write and say thank you for organising such a great trip for my friend and I back in Dec!
We thoroughly enjoyed it and have recommended your company to my cousins and friends already!
The driver, Gopal Singh was extremely careful, never too fast and very patient indeed. Our train was slightly delayed returning from Amritsar to Delhi, but at all times the tour operator in Amristar (Ricky) and yourselves were all in contact and we were well looked after. It was great to see Gopal back at Delhi station, although he must have been very tired waiting for us.
All the guides are very knowledgeable and their English was very clear too. All hotels were clean and comfortable - Country Inn & Suites was the best we think, and Paradise Hotel in Jaipur was also great! Utkarsh Villas in Agra needed some attention and I would advise this hotel as a 2/3 star rather than 4 star, but it was still comfortable. The staff at the hotel did seem rather hassled and tired, but all were still friendly.
I wish you all the best for 2010 and I will definitely look at other tours in India with yourselves next time, soon I hope!
Thanking you once again
with kind regards
Arati

Querido anil:

Subject: CREPIN BLASSEL BADON India Travel feed back
Date: Mon, 7 Dec 2009 20:04:06 +0100
From: Joelle CREPIN
To: anil@indovisiontours.com
Hello Anil,
I wanted to thank you for organising our Indian trip. It was
perfectly well organised the first two weeks and we enjoyed the
hotels. Thank you for the organisation. We enjoyed very much this
trip.
The 3rd week was slightly hectic but you managed to solve problems.
So we all consider that you did a good job.
Here are my comments for the next trip you organise :
- HOTELS : Obviously the hotels we most appreciated were the Heritage
ones : in Gwalior the Usha Kiran Palace, the Bissau Palace in Jaipur,
the Ratan Vilas in Jodhpur and the Karohi Haveli in Udaipur. These
were all beautiful, extremely pleasant and I really recommand them.
The food in their restaurant was excellent.
In Kanha the Mapple Bundela tiger retreat, the rooms were comfortable
and extremely nicely decorated and we very much appreciated the food
in the restaurant which was excellent. The service was top class. To
be recommanded.
Concerning Ranthambore, the hotel Ranthambore regency was pleasant but
we had to change rooms because they had given us a room over the
kitchens and we did not sleep because of the noise the first night.
The food was OK but not as excellent as in kanha. Service was good.
Just a detail : the hotel in Jabalpur was not so pleasant because old
and smelling naphtaline all over, and in Agra it would probably have
been nicer to stay in a heritage hotel (if available) because the Amar
was very average and the restaurant not pleasant.
But globally it was fine.
Concerning the hotel in Goa : the voucher was indicating "GOA
Heritage, location GOA". Next time write "Goan Heritage" and indicate
the beach "Calangute in GOA" because there is aparently a "Royal Goa
Heritage" in Bagha beach. It will prevent all problems next time.
However I think the Goan Heritage hotel manager was rather unpleasant
and not very open minded, and it was also part of the problem, and his
fault also.
- BUS DRIVER : was a good driver. He was not speaking a lot of english
and not understanding us, but enough to fix apointments in the
morning. We had sometimes trouble to make him change the lunch
restaurants - since he had his habits and was slightly stubborn - but
he finally did it after we insisted.
However my sister had a fuss with him concerning his tip in the end
because he was claiming 800 rps per day,ie 8 000 rps for the 10 days
as a tip and was asking whether it was mentionned in writing in our
agreement with you - a sum which is totally out of the picture for a
tip. We gave him what we consider already a very good tip, equivalent
to what we give a bus driver in France.
It was rather unpleasant ! Was he not paid ? If it was the case, we
would have rather preferred that you include the amount in the
package we paid.
- GUIDES : all were good except the Dehli one - the best one was in
Agra. The one in Dehli not to be recommanded : we could not understand
one word of what he was saying even after having him repeat 2 or 3
times (rather tiring). His accent was not understandable.
Overall a very nice trip ! thanks for the organisation

After our return from India, I had to accompany my husband for two and a half weeks in the United States. Just now back, I want to thank you once more for this really so well organized journey through Rajasthan: my daughter and I enjoyed every minute of it: everything was perfect - our driver particularly good and nice and helpful; by far the best of all our guides was the one we had in Fatepur Sikri and Agra - maybe it is useful to you to know it.
You can be sure that we will recommand your company all our friends who want to go to India.
With all best wishes

Dear Mr. Anil,
Thank you for your e-mail. I would have liked to mail you much sooner, but we have e-mail problems at home and its very hectic at my work. Sorry.
We really had a great holiday! India is of course a fantastic country with so much to see and experience.
The whole trip was a success. Everything was organised perfectly.
We were quite specific about where we wanted to go and what sort of holiday we wanted and you met all our wishes and advised us on things we didn’t know.
Sushil, our driver was great! Not only did he manage to keep us safe in the chaotic traffic of India , but he was a very agreeable travel companion. He knew the way everywhere, gave us tips and advice, answered all of our questions, was fun, taught us some Hindi, made sure we got to the right place in time and delivered us to the local guide at every place. He even found or knew some good places to eat real Indian food combined with fantastic views. We didn’t have to worry about a thing! We really liked him.
The new car was very roomy (and nice and cool, after some warm tours…). That also was very pleasant.
Also the local guides / tour operators made sure we were all right and asked if everything was all right. We were even accompanied from the entrance of the airport of Udaipur to the right queue for our flight to Mumbai (and in Mumbai for our flight back home).
I also want to thank you that you changed the hotel in Udaipur . When we arrived at your office in Delhi , your colleague Sunil said that the hotel we first had as an option (that was full) was booked, as they had found room for us, but in the meantime I had fallen in love with the website of Fateh Garh. I was a bit disappointed but booked is booked. After two days Indovision called us to tell us they had booked Fateh Garh instead, as I seemed to prefer that… Thank you. We had a lovely time at Fateh Garh!
Speaking of hotels… The hotels were all good. Even though most of the hotels were ‘only’ three stars. I’ll give some short comments on those too, in case your interested for the future.
- Hotel Florence Inn, Delhi : The hotel was ok. The location was very good, just around the corner of the big shopping streets.
- Hotel Amar, Agra : The hotel was good.
- Hotel Bissau Palace Jaipur: Lovely! We had a great room: The garden shed (a beautifully painted little 8-sided cottage in the middle of the garden). It was a bit noisy in the night and the bathroom could use a renovation, but the atmosphere was great.
- Thar Camps – Dex NAC Tents, Pushkar: When we arrived in the middle of a very, very hot afternoon we walked through the sands and found out we didn’t have an AC-tent, I was a bit disappointed, but we found out that an AC-tent would have been a waste of money. During the days we spent there, we weren’t there at all and in the evening it was nice and cool anyway! We liked the feel of being in the middle of the sand with only tents as lodging and a big tent for our breakfast / lunch and diner.
- Hotel Sagar, Bikaner : The hotel was fine. A bit far from the city centre, but the food was good. The paranthas we had for breakfast we won’t forget. Because there are also many Indian tourists, the food and breakfast is to their standards (and we like that much more than the touristy-neutral food some hotels serve…)
- Gorbandh Palace/Thar Vilas (****), Jaisalmer: Great hotel. We spent some time relaxing at the lovely pool. They had a huge choice in breakfast (but we still just wanted a spicy Indian breakfast…).
- Ratan Vilas Guest House /Nora Villa, Jodhpur : This was a homestay. The people were really very nice and made us feel welcome. We really liked it here. Especially when we were allowed to come into the kitchen and learn how to cook a thali. The food there was delicious.
- Hotel Fateh Garh, Udaipur (****): This is a fantastic hotel because of the views of Udaipur in the distance, the very attentive personnel, good food, atmosphere…. I fell in love with the website beforehand, and the real thing doesn’t disappoint at all!
- Godwin/Garden, Mumbai: The hotel was ok, the food quite good (again a dinner with a nice rooftop view). They had a lot of personnel (after we arrived, there were four staffmembers standing with us in our small bedroom…)
Thank you for the wonderful holiday you made possible.
We certainly will come back sometime!
Kind regards,
Jac and Kirsten

Namaste Mr. Anil.
We actually enjoyed very much the trip and have no complaints at all. All the contrary, Kanwar Alal was an excellent driver, helpful and polite to us, and we liked him very much.
Hotels were all very good and beautiful -the Laxmi Vilas in Udaipur was a very good suggestion and we thank you for it- except for the ones in Mt. Abu, Bundi and Pushkar. However, we liked Mt. Abu and Bundi towns a lot and think it was worth spending a night there in spite of the hotels bad quality -the one in Mt. Abu needs urgent renovation. But that was not the case for Pushkar which we did not like at all and which visit we could have avoided by travelling from Bundi to Jaipur directly or by including a visit to Ranthambore instead.
But as I said, in general everything went well and overall we are satisfied. We will recomend your services to our friends and colleagues and if we ever return to India, you can be sure that we will contact you again.
Just for your information, there was a huge traffic jam during our last evening in Delhi and we preferred to go directly to the airport instead of stopping for dinner.
Thanks for your interest and I wish you and your family all the best.

Dear Anil
We enjoyed our stay enormously. No problems. We were especially lucky with gorgous weather in the Sangla valley. Our driver was first class and a very nice person. We felt safe with him. The hotels were excellent (apart from the Visco resort stopover which we did not really like).
For your information the guide did not turn up in Amritsar but this did not interfere with our enjoyment.
When we plan to come back to India for a holiday - which I am sure we will - we will get back in touch with you.
Thank you for looking after us well.
Regards
David Millar

Dear Mr Yadav,
my son has now recovered and our heart is full of great memories.
I want to thank you and all your local representatives for the
outstanding service and support they offered us. The support that we
have received from your network greatly exceeded the expected
performance of a travel agency. All the persons ( local representatives
of the agency, drivers and guides and also the staff at the Hotels that
you selected for us) were careful and attentive and when my son got sick
they helped with the warmth of family members.
I have already passed your contact to several friends from Italy ,
France and USA. My friend with a travel agency told me that he is very
interested as he si not happy about his local contact in India and he
will certainly get in touch with you.
About the Hotels, the Usha Kiran Palace and the Lalit Temple View hotel
were absolutely spectacular! the Radisson at the airport was also very
good and perfect to relax: the MED restaurant ( with an Italian superb
chef was also a pleasant surprise!)
I thank you once more and I will be working with you again to organize
visits to other parts of your wonderful country.
best
Silvia g Priori
